I stood there amongst the sweat and other body fluids, unimpressed and jaded. i was dragged here by a friend after work and was regretting it, but little did i know, that my night was just beggining. it was 1am in butter factory and i wanted to leave, crossing my arms as people pushed to get pass me, twisting and turning amidst all the chaos. guys trying to get with girls, girls pretending they don't want it. I turned and locked eyes with a girl, she had been looking at me, disco lights bounced off her big brown eyes as they looked directly into mine, suddenly it felt as though we existed in a moment outside of this noise and thrashy techno music, outside all the sleazy groping and exchange of bodily fluid. But that wasnt all, she had the same expression as me, the expression that says "save me!" she turned shouted something inaudible to her friend and pointed at me. afterwhich she proceeded to grab my hand and pull me out, she mouthed to her friend "i'm going home" to which her friend passed a judgemental look upon me and said "look after her" with that she pulled me out of the club.
"sorry, made use of you, just wanted to get outta there" she smiled as she let go of my hand, still a little flustered, i manage to utter "sure, no problem." As we walked towards the taxi stands, we got into the first one and debated over who should drop off first, so much that the cab uncle got irritated. Finally she resigned and told the uncle her address.

"so you let a stranger drag you out of a club and you're now going with her to an unkown location" She leaned back and looked at me

"well should i be worried?" i replied, struggling to think of something smart to say. This continued for a while, basic exchange of backgrounds, until we reached her place. where we both alighted.

"shall we go somwhere?" she saidas we walked to her door, "wait here kay?" she gave me a smile and a wink before disapearing into her house and emerging awhile later.

"so where do you go when you wanna be spontaneous?" she asked
I couldnt think of anything to say, She spoke again "you're quiet aren't you?" to which my response was even more silence.

" so.... why me?" i finally asked

"you looked harmless" She replied "plus you looked kinda cute stoning there"

"dint your mum tell you not to talk to strangers?"

"i'm a big girl i can take care of myself"

we ended up walking in mt faber park somehow holding hands and looking at the view, a few more exchange of flirtatious remarks and background info. Fending of lizards for her etc etc until finally it was almost 5 am and we had to part ways. "so is this the part where you give me your number?" i asked, after which she did and i said "you dont even know my name do you?"

"no, do you know mine?"

"no"

she leaned forward and planted a kiss on my cheeks and slowly moved to nibble my ear and whispered "Joanna"

"mmm... i'll remeber that"

"you'd better" as she pulled away "well today just got a little more intresting"

Dear Blog

Well, just received news that my contract is ready for my signature this Friday! And before i sign my soul away for 6 months, a few things i would like to say

Money or not, this 6 months, ill use it wisely, put in my best to do what i can, but use this time to level up my skills in random areas. throughout this course i met a few interesting people, and seen lotsa interesting stuff, some of which i cannot share here, but i will say this, we are part of something really big and im glad to be part of it.

I'm not gonna lie, i need the money, i really fell guitly that my parents feel so obligated to pay for my university, ive stop taking money from them as much as i can i hope to rely on myself from now on. Once im stable i will support them, i must. I don't have to be on good terms with them, so long as they are well off.. haha.. i really owe them a lot, so hope this can ease them a bit.

my wisdom tooth hurts, but my mum will surely send me to some expensive dentist, so hush hush, im just gonna go to SAF kind and get it subsidized.

When i was in BMT my OC once addressed us on an issue, i couldnt remember what it was, but for some reason we were quite unhappy about something,

but the point is he was talking to us on that issue and he said one thing "i will say everything short of apologizing for this issue, i understand your concern, and everything is being done to address this issue, but i will not apologize for it"

i dint quite get why he wouldnt just say sorry for something and make it better, but today perhaps i have understood, close to 10 months as a lieutenant, i have learnt something, dont apologize if its not you fault. because if you do, yes it may ease the tension, but you have admitted to the mistake... sometimes you have to stand firm on your ground, let the people know you understand the situation take a step back and solve the issue, and pinpoint exactly WHO is responsible. Tired of apologizing and always make it look like its my fault.

A young 2LT/LTA stuck in the middle management level should never apologize to lower management for upper managements fault. no1 lower management loses repsect for middle management, no 2 issue dosent get solve cause upper managment blames middle management. no3. lower managment climbs over middle and straight deals with top breaking chain of command.

hmmm thats a good question, i know generally where i want to go, i know generally what i should do to get there, but im sitting on my butt using my computer and blogging.. haha

today was a fun day:) i had lotsa fun shopping with my princess Celine today:D although we were supposed to cycle, walking arnd tampinies one with her turned out to be super fun as well:P (esp when she tried on a hoodie thinking it was for adults when it was actually for children) hahaha

why do i still have this attitude?

okay.. today's post is gna be just some random thoughts and stuff cuz im really bored and taking a break from bio:P

hmmm
when i ask people of my age what they want to do in the future, the response comes back preety much the same "see how lor, do finish a level then talk" very few like me have a clear line of ambition, well not really a clear one but a general direction if you will, for me the end has to be clear cause i see no point in working towards a vague future. right now in these last few months before the big examinations jc students everywhere scrambling and mugging, for what? for a good uni spot, but the thing is they dont even know what they want. but society here pushes you to mug and work hard, it pushes you to compete with your peers you have to, or your future is going to be bleak, if you get into a bad uni course your life is gonna suck. can you see how ridiculous that sounds? how many people in the world make careers without uni or even high school certifications? what it takes is brains and eyes... look at our world.. look at it closer, filled with lies, cover ups and propaganda. i look around and see many stupid followers in our world, marionettes pulled by strings, i can see what the band: the killers are trying to say in their song "human" are we human or are we dancer? why do we work so hard? we're not even sure what we want, sure a degree is important, and yes not limiting your choices is a good thing but what i cant stand is the message that everyone seems to be getting: pass As or your life will be hell.
society is a selection pressure where only the fittest survive, and to survive you gotta play by the game, what many dont know is there are hidden rules, what you see is not what you get, they will throw you every example to prove their point, but in reality how many of such do you get? im sick and tired of society's direction, doing things for the sake of being safe, the way i see it we're a bunch of cowards not willing to take a leap, a leap of faith. playing things safe like that would get us somewhere. sigh, the trap of being in singapore. a bunch of cowards...
of course i might not know better but still..
my goal has been clear since i was sec 1, i knew what i wanted, cause even at the age of 13 i saw the world for what it was, i saw human beings for what they were. violent, selfish and vile creatures, we always distinct ourselves from animals, but in the end we're preety much simmilar at the end of the day, our desires gets the better of us and we give in to the animal inside, human beings are capable of anything to fufill that desire. there was nothing wrong with that, but humans created the right and the wrong, many just stick to it no distinction between morals and ethics doing every "right" thing because we are afraid, of our god of the law of what people think of us. but right or wrong is never there, its just a fabrication by our leaders past and present so that we may be brought into order. but whe one is pushed everything is capable. because in fact our capacity to do bad things is not gone, its just supressed by fear, given the right catalysts humans are recipe for murder, rape, theft and anything undersun that is bad, note that there is good and bad, justice and injustice, but right or wrong...its just our own perception of those 4 things muddled by external influences. A lion kills another lion for competition of territory and food and mates, humans used to do that but everything i said above has stopped us from doing that... but are we still capable? yes, underneath our extirior lies the animal instinct to get what they want with whatever it takes or die trying, humans are just bad cookie doughs moulded in to a attractive delicious looking shape, but humans differ from animals with one point... choice, whether we retain that mould before the cookie bakes is up to us, a life time in the oven every single person has a choice, to stick to the status quo and just maintain the so called right or break out of it and retain their animal instincts, its a tough choice for many, i agree but we still have a choice, and at the end of the day when someone is found dead, that person is someone's husband/wife, son/daughter/ someones friend and someone is responsible.. this is injustice...for life is just a vicious cycle, sooner or later what goes around comes around, and im the person who wants to bring this cycle around to restore justice to the innocent. Im not for the right or for the wrong.. i just want to monitor the cycle, make sure good is balacned with bad because the world we're living in now aint so bad and someone shld be there to punish those who dont conform to it... right or wrong is a perception muddled by external inflluences, i dont care much about it, even good or bad is a perception if a person robs a bank to save his dying wife, many might argue its bad/wrong but some might say he did a good/right thing, he a poor man who is uncapable of saving his own wife.... whats so wrong if he were to take some money from the rich and fat people who dont really need the money anyway its just sitting there.. intetions, should we consider them? but when he robbed the bank, whats important is taht he set in motion a cycle... he took something that wasnt his and he scared innocent people.. thats injustice upsetting the balance. and i want to bring that justice back..
i like to use my brain and think, particularly solving problems observing people, i know many things that goes on, take for example my classroom, i know what goes on everywhere, i just act that i dont, cause honestly couldnt care less of this schoolyard shananigans, but i know my brain capacity can be used for a greater cause. im just stuck in this piece of junk because right here its a "must" to have good grades to progress society demands it, but i know when im out of this junk yard, its when it starts when i start to realize my true potential when my brain capacity will be used to crack down criminals and bring the justice back to the cycle

bottom line..
must study for a levels liao :P

after movie we went to subway for dinner and the traditional sharing session. of course its abt girls lar haha, hmm must say some of us have really grown up and well i mean stuff changes alot, do miss the old days where we talk abt girls everyday in a boys sch:P haha back then was one heck of a mess for all of us when it came to relationships.. right now seems to be going in a good direction for all of us:P im happy for most of them luh:P but i think my story is still the most intrestingXD haha
anyway was good seeing them again sigh, CRYSI-Z ROCKS! haha ahh like what ryan said preety hard to put down in words for this event. so ill stop here and keep the memory in my heart

anyway yesterday met my dearest to study at SMU as she has exams next week(Jiayou!:D) it was great seeing her again after like a week, although i saw her on thu but that was for like only a minute:P so we studied till about 6pm haha sai called me asking wierd questions to settle a dispute with lifang XD haha.

Yea so we went to Cinileisure to watch Threads of Destiny, its a Jap show was quite funny at first then after that got really touching and sad, lol one of the few movies that almost made me cry:P and really want to cry esp the parts when the guy died, haha go watch!
so after that i sent her home and wow she got me a present for our one month aniverssary oh gosh i really felt like crying when i opened it and read those words that really moved my heart gosh maybe its the movie but i really felt like crying:)

ok time for a proper post since god knows when

Midyears have been just horrible and full of epic fails haha

didn't study enough of everything haha hopefully by alevels everything will be betterXD

so just now ended chem paper and went to play lan with the guys

haha went to subway to eat first then walked around looking for a toilet to change cuz the toilet we always went to was closed haha in the end we changed at the carpark staircase but only managed to change shirt than a couple of ladies walked pass and we were like OMG! haha went to DB after that

walked round and round till we found a lan shop that was empty and allowed ppl with sch uniform haha oh and i dropped by smu to say hi to someone:D

lol we played L4d until super pek chek cuz some of them first time play and really play till very irritated hahaha i smoked russel to death behind a bush ahaahhaa that was hilarious and epic kill!

anyway got a splitting headache now cause of all the gaming. so anyway we played CS and Dota too haha yay i havent lost my Dota or CS skills :P haha funny we played 3v3 haha

then went home took to serangoon with gabs then i took the circle line haha was much faster than taking to bishan straight:P

haha oh and sean and i are competing for the lowest scores in bio and he bets that his maths score will be lower than half of mine

Hey People, havent posted in awhile. so here's whats been going on.

Friday:

Went to Raffles City to study with Celine Calista Leong :D haha we went to the cha cha green tea place. the ice green tea was intrestingly nice to drink. I studied abit of bio, it was quite a productive day comapred to my other study days seriously. Hee but most of the time was spent stoning and staring.^^ So anw there was this guy who was waiting for his friend but his friend ditched him so he gave us the cake he ordered. The akward thing was his friend arrived soon after so we tried to give back the cake but then he shoved it back to us. apparently he ordered new cakes. so yea super akward.

the cakes were nice btw. although we dint finish it. haha oh there was soup too haha.
so after studying(for 3-4 hours). we went to watch the international it was quite intresting, but after awhile it gets a little draggy and boring. but i like the plot. Too bad Celine dint quite get the show, haha half of the show was spent explaining to her roughly what was going on(i dint quite get some parts too XD) haha so we left halfway thru the movie. yeap haha then we went home liao.

so when i reached home. they have already started dota w/o me :( haha but anw it was quite a good day. or rather 2 days cuz it was already pass midnight.

in other news:

so i was buying dog food for cleff the other day, when i saw this trustie brand cover, featuring a dog and a cat, i know they are trying to advertise animal love and friendship.

but does is look like the dog is eating the cat?

the cat seems to be enjoying it but the dog is like Muhahah im gna eat ya!

and apparently CJC bus stop needs 2 dustbins. cuz we dirty the place too much?

i have nothing much to update cuz life has just been boring and mundane so far, school, home sleep. A bit of DotA here and there. its really quite tiring haha. Got a C for my PW, haiz oh well this just means i have to work hard for My As. haha

word of advice, when you want to climb a window, climb it don't jump it. If you do jump it pls dont be complacment for a low wall is still a wall. my other shin is hurting now cuz i did not look where i was jumping and banged my left shin right SMACK into the wall. hahahah damn funny lah i like missed the ledge completely damn smart. first time this week i got such a great beauty sleep full 14 hour sleep
from 10-12pm. anw the short break today from all the busy school and fencing has allowed me to reflect on my life alittle.
although im tired and like really dying from juggling my cca i realise i would not have my life any other way. I love my friends and family and just about anyone part of my life. i miss my secondary school days, i miss the classrooms the smells the sucky food. i miss complaining abt school. heck i even miss last year. time will past its an infinite vector, i just hope it can slow down a little to let us appreciate the little things. so anw a few resoulutions i did not make at the start of the year...

reunion dinner at Grandma's places, played with cousins, Soda and Linjing and small aunt some weird game called sitting ducks which was surprisingly damn fun, wahaha then played monopoly which i won yay haha then ended up talking on msn with Chai Lin, till quite late, then Lin Jing and i came up with a variation of sitting ducks where the duck colour is unknown lol. damn fun.
